We all had a fantastic Christmas day which we managed to eek out until late evening as Amy was at work. Peter had the contents of his stocking to keep him entertained all day as we kept present opening until after dinner so Amy was there. A new type of rubix cube, some games and chocolate did the trick.
I did suggest a morning walk but was met with stubborn refusals - it was a bit drizzly though so it was probably a good decision to stay in. This gave Ian time to look for jobs to do.
While most people were relaxing and tucking into their turkey Ian was mending a dodgy loo seat. At least it now doesn't move when you sit on it - it was a bit like being at sea.
Peter and I got creative for lunch. Cheese and biscuits followed by Christmas cake to keep us going until dinner.
Merry Christmas! At this stage of the evening we were full. Amy's chocolate trifle finishing us off and none of us really wanted to move. We'd completed movie charades, read all the cracker jokes and we're ready to open our presents.
A lovely day (except for the washing up - but I've left that for others to do 😄). Not sure about our plans for tomorrow but my stomach needs a walk. Hopefully it stays dry long enough for a potter about.
