Ian and I did an Uber to Heathrow for friends flying off on a lovely holiday - very envious but not long now! You can now drop off at the long term car park and then there's a short trip on a transfer bus to the airport. Very convenient.
We managed to return home just a short time after our Scottish visitors who'd left at 6.30am. The worst part of their journey being the bit from Thurrock over the Dartford bridge - 45 minutes to go about a mile. Welcome to the south east and the glories of the M25!
Amy's nativity scene is getting the fairy lights treatment. Going for a minimalist Christmas this year as a Christmas tree would just be a bit too much for the room. Looks good 😊.
Peter has arrived with a big bag of games so we're starting our family games evenings. He's already had Amy and Freddie playing a word game while dinner was cooking and we're about to start another now dinner has finished.
Tomorrow we're planning a London trip by train. Weather looks good so a chance for seeing the lights and wearing our Christmas jumpers.
