Our morning walk started off with dull skies and a very empty beach. The beaches remained quiet but at least the clouds slowly dispersed.
After a cuppa we continued our walk along the Roses end of the bay. Here the council workmen were trimming the trees in preparation for the winter. The 'Christmas' lights have also been put up, but this could be for this weekend's food and music festival being held from 4pm on both days. We're quite looking forward to seeing what it's all about.
Not much skin exposed as it's cool when the sun goes behind a cloud. Keeping my feet warm in this year's market purchase of some spotty socks and slippers bought a few years ago on another market trip. Perfect winter sun conditions for reading outside for a few hours getting my daily dose of Vitamin D.
Ian has been very studious with his 'Let's Get Started' CD on learning Spanish. He's now mastered booking a room, ordering food and going clothes shopping (although I don't think he'll ever have to use those phrases 😅).
After nearly abandoning my jumper project as the variated wool was so variated that I didn't think it looked right, Mum stepped in to say she'd take on its ownership. I'm pleased as it saves me having the task of unpicking it and working out what to make with it.
Tomorrow should be an interesting day with the Festivalet. We're looking forward to seeing what it entails.
