3rd October A Bit of a Nosey

This morning we had some mist over the hills but it soon cleared. By breakfast it was warming up and we soon went off for our 10am looking at an apartment appointment.

We went and had a look at a 2 bedroom apartment on the other side of the block to us. It had some similarities but generally we prefer ours much more as we have a larger balcony, a far better view and larger lounge/dinner. If anything their only advantage was a bigger second bedroom. They had also put down new flooring tiles and have an electric oven whereas ours is gas. Worth a look at and gave us a few ideas 

Back chilling out on the balcony Ian was obviously in a repair mood. He was reading and the seal under the bottom of the balcony doors was obviously not to his satisfaction.

Ian soon had me helping out in the repair work and he then did the smoothing off. A very neat job.

Exhausted after his DIY Ian had a snooze - all I could see was a nose but I could certainly hear him 😴.

The afternoon turned out to be cloudy so we decided on a walk to the supermarket to stock up on lettuce, olives and tomatoes. Despite the cloudy conditions after coming out of the air conditioned supermarket it was like hitting a wall of hot air. A refreshing cup of tea was the order of the day on our return.

I made some scones to go with our cuppa 😀.

A restful evening and a trip out tomorrow on the cards.
