2nd September National Cinema Day

Another day hard at work but finished off with a night at the movies. 

This morning Ian started off by finishing the kitchen sink which had its seal setting over night. It needed trimming to neaten the edges and then it was a job done.

Then it was sorting out drainage pipes outside and then sorting out more doors and flooring.

I put another coat of paint in the hall and landing and then after lunch got on with sanding and painting the corridor in the back.

Sanding done and ready to paint. A very handy foldable step proved to be an ideal accessory today.

After all our hard work and dinner we headed out for the evening. It was National Cinema Day so tickets with most cinemas had greatly reduced tickets to encourage people to get out to a local cinema. We went along to the local Odeon to watch Denzil Washington's latest action packed offering. My only criticism of the film being that it could be entered into the foreign language category of films. Set in Sicily about 50% was in Italian so there was loads of reading which was a bit distracting at times!! Anyway Denzil righted all the wrongs 😁.

Our last full day of DIY tomorrow so an opportunity to get as much done as possible before we head to Kent.
