31st August Sorting out Doors

Up at 2.30am pottering to the loo. Got back to our inflatable bed and it was a bit like getting into a boat drifting away from the shore as it had slightly deflated and so was a bit squashy. Arms and legs flailing about as I was trying to lower myself onto this moveable feat about 6 inches off the floor. Not helped by getting the giggles as I was floundering about and wrestling with the duvet 😅.

Back to sleep and up for breakfast before starting on a busy day. Today we've been concentrating on one area of Natalie's house. We've rehung and sorted out 3 doors, finished sealing round ceiling trims, completed some laminate flooring in the kitchen, prepared all the paintwork in the bathroom, completed the flooring edge on a step and more filling.

About to start on sealing.

Euan joins us for work tomorrow so lots more potential - possibly the bathroom. We have had to put the sanding off as couldn't locate the extension leads! Hopefully Euan will be able to find one 😀.

Meanwhile this evening I'm using up left over wool to crochet a baby footmuff. Not using a pattern but making it up as I go along.
