5th July Meet Up With Buddies

After last night's heavy rain it was great to wake up to blue skies. Not quite shorts weather but I donned a hat as it was pretty bright. On route to the lakes I dropped off 3 bags of donations to the nearby charity shop - I'm sure they'll be more to come as I still have a heap of stuff to go through.

Poor Karen could only manage one lap today but Sarah and I did our normal two - always plenty to chat about to keep us going on our walk 😀.

I headed back to Amy's where she had been having more of a sort out. Sounds like she had a productive morning. Then we headed off to Bluewater where we had a very productive afternoon and managed to walk over 10k steps in the process!

This evening we've sorted through the airing cupboard and stuff I'd brought back from the van. We've got loads of old towels so they're now bagged and ready to drop off at RSPCA tomorrow. We're certainly helping out local charities this week 😊.

I'm looking forward to catching up with more friends over the next few days and a bit more whizzing around in Rolo.
