30th July Canal Walk

With the forecast looking decidedly damp for the afternoon we took the dogs off for a walk after breakfast. This time we went along the nearby canal and even managed to do a bit of geocaching as we went along. Another 2 finds!

We got a bit knotted up with long leads along the footpath so Ian had both dogs. This gave me time to search for the geocache clues.

We found out that one of the dogs loves the water. Any opportunity and she was in! It was warm this morning so she soon dried off on our long circular walk. 

Back to base and the dogs were flaked out. After lunch I made a couple of pavlovas with left over egg whites from the other day. Then a bit of a sit down for a well earned rest. We even nodded off on the sofa this afternoon - my excuse was I was waited for my pavlovas to cook 😆.

Rain came as forecast so it was a relaxing rest of the day doing a bit of reading, finished my cross stitch, knitting and watching a film or two on the TV.

Depending on the weather tomorrow we might go for a little drive about.
