16th July Wow What a Wimbledon

Mum was up and out early dog showing so Dad and I had a day together. Boiled egg a la Dad for breakfast before we tackled the Sunday crossword. A bit if a tricky one today. We finished it with the help of Google and Peter, who answered the maths question which Google couldn't provide an answer for 😃.

Lunch was a short drive away near Ludlow in The Clive Arms. Delicious roast and puds.

After lunch we've been engrossed in the men's Wimbledon final. What a match! We were rooting for Alcaraz so we're very pleased with the result.

In between the tennis I've finished a book Dad had for his recent birthday based on a lady who started a blog at the age of 95 about growing old. A very interesting read and thought provoking for us youngsters 😅.

Looking forward to a trip out to Church Stretton with Mum in the morning so fingers crossed that the weather is dry after several downpours today.
