We drove in and got the park and ride bus from Meole Brace retail park on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. This definitely made our trip easier as we were able to get off right in the centre within easy reach of all the shops and places Mum wanted to go to.
A very productive day with keys being cut, silk flowers and birthday presents brought, as well as goodies from M&S and Sainsbury's. We even had time for a Pizza Express lunch.
Back home we've had a quiet evening as Mum was a bit pooped from yesterday's trip out and today's walking. I actually got my sewing out as sitting in the conservatory there's good light until well past 9pm.
Tomorrow we're at home. More old photos and boxes of paperwork to sort through. That'll keep us out of mischief for the day 😀.
