2nd June Nature Walk

A lovely day with Pauline and Tim before they headed off home this afternoon.

We all heard the ducks pattering over the roof early this morning and then we were visited by loads of geese as we had breakfast. A few bits of Weetabix and they were happy.

Mud weight up and then we were off to Wroxham for a visit and walk around.

We saw the ice cream boat this morning 😄

Dodging the big boats on our way to Wroxham.

After a bit of shopping in Wroxham (Pauline picked up quite a few bargains and I bought something for my nephew's summer wedding outfit), we stopped off at Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail.

A male Hairy dragonfly - identified by the warden.

On the nature trail.

Then we had to start heading for Stalham to drop Pauline and Tim off to drive home.

Big boats on the river today

Back at Stalham.

Freddie back on the helm as we left Stalham. We went to find a mooring at nearby Barton Turf for our last overnight stop.

Moored on Barton Turf

Tomorrow we'll have to be up earlish as we have to return the boat by 9am. Then hopefully not too much traffic on our drive south.
