So today we got round to it! Driving through the countryside towards St Andrews we were directed up a track to a farm house. Hidden beneath it we discovered via a long tunnel the secret bunker. Here over 300 people could work 100 feet below ground in the area of 2 football pitches, 1 on top of the other, with concrete walls about 3m thick. If there had been a nuclear war this is where Scotland would have been governed from.
Back to Peter's after our trip out we've made a start on his garden.
It needed 3 battery charges to get the front bit strimmed. Luckily we'll be using a mower for the lawn at the back.
A bit of a challenge watching the TV this evening as Peter's TV has a mind of its own and just turns down the volume on its own😅. Much cursing, button pressing, batteries removed and replaced in the remote control, bits of sellotape, fingers crossed and breath holding this evening. Has certainly made watching a film entertaining.
