30th May Back Up to Northern Broads

We had a long trip ahead of us today heading north back through Breydon Water. So breakfast on the hoof to make sure we were crossing the Water on slack water about 2pm.

As we managed to get a bit ahead of schedule we moored up at the side of a pub in St Olave's for an hour. Time for a walk and explore.

A stop off to visit St Olave's Priory

A few llamas on route back to the boat.

We were lucky with the weather on our stop as it stayed dry, but a tad chilly. Once back aboard and on our way the grey clouds came in and we had drizzle.

Crossing Breydon Water at low tide. Looked very different from when we crossed at high water with mud flats both sides of the channel.

We passed a few windmills as we journeyed to Acles for an overnight mooring.

Looking forward to Pauline and Tim joining us for a few days from tomorrow evening.
