15th May Wind, Wind and More Wind

Despite the howling and whistling wind we managed to sleep and had hoped it would ease. Unfortunately it's not stopped all day and it looks like it's going to be the same tomorrow.

The only respite from it is by sitting outside the front door as sitting on the balcony is definitely a no, no. Even the pigeons have been struggling to land on the balcony and a few have been blown off!

So other than a Lidl shop to buy some Tinto and pate it's been a 'quiet' day in doing some cleaning in preparation for our departure on Wednesday and a bit of sewing.

A flamingo this time (apologies for the upsidedown picture - I couldn't work out how to turn it round😀).

Tomorrow is going to be busy sorting ourselves out for the off. A fridge nearly empty but a few cupboards still to sort. Once we've got the car packed we'll know we're all ready.
