21st April Sitting in the Sun

After a bit of a chilly evening last night, requiring long sleeves and trousers we woke to an over cast morning. However, the clouds gradually cleared and parachutists could be seen landing in the distance during breakfast.

This morning we drove to Empuriabrava to top up the tank (just €1.43 a litre of diesel) and to buy several items in the Asian Market. A non slip bath mat (this morning's shower nearly ended in disaster - I ended up slipping and turning the shower back on after drying myself, making me and my towel very soggy 😅);  more large drinking glasses (where do they go when we're not here?🤔); AAA batteries for our TV remote (we managed to transport it here empty) and glue to restick the GPS disc back on Rolo's dashboard, as it came off on our journey here, necessitating it being stuck temporarily on the passenger glovebox.

Back after our successful shop we walked into Roses to pay our water bill in the local Agbar office (water board). A warm walk along the prom in the sunshine.

Sun's out!

This afternoon we've enjoyed a leisurely lounge. I've finishef a book and made a start on another. The sun stayed warm and bright until about 6.30pm so it was lovely to have a laze.

Market day along Empuriabrava sea front tomorrow - looking forward to a potter.
