It was lovely to catch up with my friend Jane from nursing days, who was in the area, over a pot of tea and hot cross buns. This wasn't without incident though as I managed to trip the electrics twice as the hot cross buns caused havoc in the toaster. The sultanas kept getting stuck on the toaster bit. However, after the toaster was taken out in the garden to be totally emptied by being shaken about it was soon back in action. We had an afternoon of watching Amy's wedding and speeches and catching up on news. Now there is a weekend pencilled in the calendar for a visit to the van in the summer.
An evening in today so homemade lasagne, lots of olives, homous and raw veggies - delicious. Then a chance to get on with my new cross stitch challenge
