27-28 May - Baking Hot!

We've just had two sweltering days so we've not moved much! Other than going on a walk jumping from one area of shade to another.

Yesterday evening we joined our group for the monthly mini golf match. It was still pretty hot so we were all decked out in shorts and sunhats until gone 8pm. Ian had a great round, beating off the nearest competition by taking 6 less shots! 

Today's saunter along the prom saw the first aid huts being put in place. About 4 along the bay ready for the start of season next week.

Today was spent concentrating on my embroidery whilst out in the shade on the balcony. A bit of a sweaty day and loads of iced drinks to cool off. 

It looks like tomorrow is going to be another sweltering day so we're having a local lunch out with our Isle of Man friend. Ah. This is the life! 😄😎
