Yesterday was a bit of a non event as several in the household were poorly. We remained at home in easy access of home comforts.
Today has been totally different with a real spring in our step as we headed out for a much needed walk. It was also glorious with all the fabulous blossom around.
Even the fields alongside the river walk were teaming with lambs frolicking about trying to find their Mums. The farmer had sensibly numbered the ewes and their respective offspring. Although I'd be pretty impressed if the lambs can read at such an early age!😆.
After having a sit down in the grass, under a pink blossomed tree by the river, we watched some of the boats making their way through the locks.
As it was nearly high tide there wasn't much water to be let out of the lock.
Graffiti bridge is looking particularly colourful. Always interesting to see if it's been changed. I can now make out the word 'Chaos', whereas up close it's a bit tricky to make out.
A very enjoyable walk and lucky to have had a dry, bright day today. Fingers crossed for decent weather this week.
