28 March Wash Day

Not much to report on today other than it's been a quiet day. Mostly spent washing, but that's a normal thing to do on returning home from time away. We have to bring a certain amount home as it not possible to get it done before hand - mostly towels and bed linen.

Amy and I went to This Art of Mine near Detling to do baby hand and footprints in clay this morning. A bit of a challenge but successfully done with time left to have a short retail therapy trip. A few things purchased and a spot of lunch before returning home.

Ian has now gone off to Plymouth for a CCF camp this evening, after a slight hiccup in his travelling arrangements. He returned about half an hour after leaving as he'd managed to forget his pass! There would be no way he'd manage to blag himself on to base without it, so unfortunately added a substantial amount of time to his already long journey.

This evening I've made a start on my next embroidery project. A birthday sampler for junior.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's forecast - sunny! A countryside walk will be most welcome after our recent long drive across France.
