First trip out was a walk round the corner to go and get my hair cut. I was definitely in need of a trim as it hadn't been cut since the end of June (other than a few self fringe cuts necessary to see out 😀).
Penny did a quick count and we realised I was short of a pair of wings. So after a rummage to find suitable knitting needles and wool I quickly knitted the final pair.
Nearly completed. Just a few more waiting for completion in our little production line of stuffing, sewing up the hole the stuffing goes in, fixing on wings and adding eyes. I managed to make 50 in the end all ready for November's annual Sailing Club dinner.
This evening has been another get together, this time with old NCT buddies. A lovely catch up on everyone's family news, recent holidays and forthcoming events over dinner down at The Chimneys.
I tried pulled mushroom chilli (I knew you could get pulled pork so this was new to me but definitely worth a try) and rice, followed by a mini white chocolate blondie with raspberries and coffee - yum!
Tomorrow I'm going to concentrate on a bit of sewing machine work as a few things need altering. Hopefully I've got enough time to get everything sorted while Ian is doing some work on the guttering in the morning.
