A day for donning the anorak with showers on and off all day.
Mum managed to forget putting a coat on when she took the dogs for a walk to get the paper. Fortunately she managed to avoid getting too wet by having an extended natter in the village shop.
We were also fairly lucky on our trip to Church Stretton as we could shelter in the shops up and down the high street.
I had tried to take a picture of the Church Stretton church with the clock face. Unfortunately that view was obscured by trees so this is the best I could take. We'd managed to park here and take a short stroll into the town. Stopped for a coffee in Berry's coffee shop and then continued with our retail therapy along the main road through the town.
Then it was back for late lunch and relaxing in the conservatory. Dad snoozing, Mum brushing one of the dogs and I was getting on with my cross stitch project.
A bit of a smudgy garden view as the rain was coming down the conservatory window. It's like being on the edge of a forest as it's so green 😀.
Off to Ludlow tomorrow.... there might be a market!
