7th September Packed Up and Ready

All systems go and ready for the off tomorrow with only problems on the M20 causing us possible delays tomorrow. Currently there are closures as lorries have gone into Operation Stack because of the increase in security checks as a result of the recent terrorist prisoner escape from Wandsworth. There's not enough room in Rolo to squeeze another bag in let alone another person. However with his track record of escaping by strapping himself under a lorry he could potentially find a bit of space under Rolo. Although I'd think he'd be easily spotted as his legs would stick out from underneath as Rolo is quite small 😅.

 We took Amy and Freddie out for dinner this evening - always nice not to wash up! This is the first attempt at a photo - Freddie was jumping about to try and get his head in and Ian was behind Amy. Otherwise a lovely photo of me and Amy.

Second attempt!

Alarm set for 4.30am for a 7am ferry crossing. We have to take into account a longer journey as we're likely to have to go on the M2. There might also be additional security checks but we'll see how it goes in the morning.
