23 October A Smack of Jellyfish

A new term for you today. Apparently a group of jellyfish is a 'smack' although I think a jiggle of jellyfish sounds better.

Anyway we cycled up towards the harbour end of Roses and on our way spotted a huge number of jellyfish floating about in the sea.

The shoreline was just covered with small red jellyfish. Definitely no chance of going swimming or snorkeling today.

We left and locked the bikes at the end of the fishing port. Then walked along the coast path to firstly the bay of the small Canyelles beach before continuing our walk to the great Canyelles beach. Both bays full of jellyfish and no one swimming today.

We got to the Great bay and decided that was far enough. Time for some light refreshments.

Back at our bikes someone had put a sun mat in the bin. It was in perfect nick and fitted in the basket on the back of Ian's bike so it's now part of our beach equipment 😃.

We were out at mini golf tonight.

Out of the 22 playing Paul came first overall and I was second out of all the ladies. Not a bad night's entertainment as we chatted away until it got dark before heading back for a late dinner.

Tomorrow we're thinking of a drive out somewhere. Maybe over to L'Escala for the day.
