22 October Llanca Trail

Today we took a drive over the hills to Llanca which is on the coast, just south of the French border.

Our first clue in the Port of Llanca involved a mathematical conundrum. I loved the crochet bunting.

Our trail took us all around the bay and harbour having to answer puzzles in order to get on to the next clue.

The trail is supposed to take 75 minutes. We took about 4 hours as we stopped to take in the view, try out a back street bar for drinks and to eat our picnic lunch sitting looking over the marina.

I was impressed by the reading base on the beach which encourages family reading during the summer.

Times have changed with the road sign including scooters and roller blades. Although the road up to the top of the headland was definitely not suitable for any of them!

Ian managed to keep hold of his hat when we got yo and top to enjoy the views.

After completing our Llanca trail we drove round the coast road to El Port de la Selva. Another walk around the bay with an ice cream at the end.

Then it was back to the apartment for pre dinner Tinto on the balcony, dinner and then an evening mozzie along the prom.
